The current problem in society is that data is one of the most valuable things that we have is our personal ideas in our mind/ the data we create. However we don’t have much control of that data on the internet. The information we are fed is from advanced algorithms that prioritize profits over needs. By reshaping the form of how we share data on the internet (social media), the lost and unheard ideas of the world can emerge by being voted for and discovered by peers (users). The users are given the control of the network and are then able to vote on different dynamics of the advances of the network. As this network slowly replaces voting mechanisms in many places. We (humanity) will be able to replace money by voting with our time and money.

A new system needs to emerge where everyone’s necessities are met as a first priority. What if we voted on the needs of human beings? For example the following is Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs:

Physiological needs, Safety Needs
Belonging and love needs
esteem needs
cognitive needs
aesthetic needs self actualization
transcendence

These needs could even potential be voted on and ordered seen fit by the users of the network. If we had an education system that was voted on. People would be taught what the human race deemed valuable. Abulof notes that “all animals seek survival and safety, and many animals, especially mammals, also invest efforts to belong and gain esteem… The first four of Maslow’s classical five rungs feature nothing exceptionally human.” This voting mechanism would allow the network to become a collective mind of the human population.

If all resources were perfectly allocated there would be no arbitrage. Current society takes advantage of people in many different ways however this type of system is self damaging and prevents the human race from completing things based on need but rather greed. Stock trading would be ranked by company value. And wealth would be redistributed to where value exists and essentials are required.

only people who have to pay is if you want cpu power or gpu power or file hosting

What do people really want?

So when do we want our voice’s heard?
-economics
-truth
-voting
-pricing
-currency stabilization

Currently, humans are playing a free for all game in a global world economy. When did the world become less cooperative and working towards individual goals? This perception may have been warped by the creation of money and government.

Time is a ruthless gate keeper of knowledge and once lost, must either be recreated, re-envisioned, or re-imagined. Data is history, there needs to be a way that can store historical data while un-needed data slowly fades out of existence. Current corporations are centralized “honey pots” of data personal data accumulated overtime. The internet is a web of data however Amazon, Facebook, Google, and other Data based tech giants are the spiders collecting the users like flies. The consumer is no longer the consumer of a product but rather being consumed by these corporations. People are also at risk of having their sensitive private information stored in a centralized system that could easily be “seized” by the government or by hackers. To prevent mass data loss and prevention of data corruption, data should be decentralized and not be made into a product.

Imagine having your files on a decentralized server. You can either A. host the files yourself for free on the network. You can also chose to share this information to other people to download. This may seem similar to a peer to peer file sharing network like the bittorrent network however it differs in how the network is distributed. Rather than having a centralized location to find information regarding the file. The file is then added to a ledger system and fetches information regarding the file from the address. People can vote on what files are valuable and what are “toxic” to the community.
